About me

About me

I have always been a creator, drawn instinctively to colour, shape, and the quiet rhythms of the natural world. My work is guided by an intuitive process—painting is something I feel as much as I see, allowing each piece to emerge and flow organically. Inspired by botanical forms, figurative subjects, and the enduring influence of the Old Masters, I explore the relationship between observation and emotion through layered colour and pattern.

As a multidisciplinary artist, my practice spans a range of approaches, unified by a sensitivity to form, movement, and the expressive potential of paint. Alongside my own work, I have spent many years teaching children, adults, and individuals with special educational needs, an experience that continues to inform my inclusive and exploratory approach to creativity.

Currently, I am undertaking an MA at Morley College, Chelsea, further developing my practice and deepening my research. Based in Essex, I balance my artistic career with life as a mother, drawing inspiration from both personal experience and the natural environment that surrounds me.

My work is an ongoing dialogue between intuition and observation—an attempt to capture not just how the world looks, but how it feels.
